Evans SO20RIDE SoundOff Ride Mute - 20"

Evans SO20RIDE SoundOff Ride Mute - 20"

The Evans SO20RIDE SoundOff Ride Mute is the perfect tool for drummers who want to practise their ride technique without waking the whole house. Designed to fit snugly over a 20" ride cymbal, this mute reduces volume by up to 95%, allowing you to keep your grooves sharp while keeping the noise under control.

Made from durable rubber, the SoundOff mute maintains the natural feel of your cymbal, so you can practise dynamics, stick control, and patterns with confidence. The response remains realistic enough to transition seamlessly back to an unmuted kit, making it ideal for consistent, meaningful practice.

Whether you’re working on jazz ride patterns, rock grooves, or metal accents, this mute helps you build control and precision without sacrificing the essential feel of the instrument. Lightweight and easy to slip on and off, it’s a simple yet essential accessory for drummers who need to keep the volume down but the playing up.

At Musicmaker, we believe the best practice tools are the ones that keep you playing longer, and the Evans SoundOff Ride Mute does exactly that—turning any room into a rehearsal space.
