PureSound Custom Series Snare Wire, 16 Strand, 13"

PureSound Custom Series Snare Wire, 16 Strand, 13"

The PureSound Custom Series 16 Strand Snare Wire is an excellent choice for drummers looking for a crisp, articulate snare response with outstanding sensitivity and control. Designed to enhance the natural character of your drum without overpowering it, this 13" snare wire delivers a balanced, open sound that's ideal for players who value clarity, dynamic expression, and a clean snare tone.

With 16 precision-engineered steel strands, this Custom Series model offers a slightly more open and focused response than higher strand-count alternatives. The reduced number of strands allows the shell's natural voice to shine through while still delivering the crisp snap and responsiveness that PureSound is renowned for. It's a superb option for jazz, funk, pop, acoustic performances, and any musical style where articulation is key.

Manufactured from premium-grade steel, each strand is evenly tensioned to ensure consistent contact across the snare-side head. This precision construction helps minimise unwanted buzz while delivering fast, accurate snare wire response from the lightest ghost notes to confident backbeats.

Designed specifically for 13" snare drums, the Custom Series installs easily and provides dependable performance with a wide range of drum heads and shell materials. Whether you're upgrading a favourite snare or replacing worn-out wires, it's a simple improvement that can make a noticeable difference to your overall sound.

At Musicmaker, we know that great snare tone comes down to the details. The PureSound Custom Series 16 Strand Snare Wire offers exceptional craftsmanship, reliable performance, and the articulate response that helps every note speak with clarity.
