Evans Calftone Drum head - 14"

Evans 56 Calftone 14'' Drum head

The Evans 56 Calftone, a modern drum head with a vintage look. The use of Evans Level 360 technology produces extended pitch range, allowing for higher tunings. This results in a tight, smaller sized drumkit sound, ideal for big band and jazz performers.

Manufactured in the USA, the 56 Calftone takes sound back to the time Evans began making drum heads. As well as sounding the part, the Evans 56 Calftone heads will have you looking like you belong in the oldest jazz bars of New York.

Look the part and sound your best

The Evans 56 Calftone belongs in a golden era of drumming. The thinner design and higher tuning capabilities allow you to effortlessly shine in jazz and big band environments. Built in New York, the Evans 56 Calftone utilises modern technology to provide the sound jazz drummers crave with modern durability.

Evans Level 360 Technology

By extending the playing surface of the drum head around the drum, Level 360 technology ensures even contact across the full drum skin ensuring you can focus on your performance. The modern technology means that a warm sound is created, including when you switch to brushes.
