Evans Genera HD Dry Coated Head - 16"
Evans Genera HD Dry Coated Head - 16"
The Evans Genera HD Dry Coated Head – 16" is a formidable choice for drummers seeking a controlled, articulate tone with minimal overtones. Whether you're outfitting a floor tom or a snare, this head delivers a focused sound that's ideal for both live performances and studio recordings.
Constructed with a dual-ply design—featuring a 5mil outer ply and a 7.5mil inner ply—this head offers enhanced durability and a robust attack. The addition of a 2mil overtone control ring on the underside "floats" with the head, effectively eliminating excessive overtones and controlling sustain. Precision-drilled dry vents around the perimeter further reduce overtones and sustain, ensuring a crisp, focused sound. The coated finish adds warmth and improves brush response, making it versatile for various playing styles.
Incorporating Evans' Level 360 Technology, this head ensures a perfect fit on the drum shell, providing ease of tuning and a consistent sound across the drum's surface. Whether you're in the studio or on stage, the Evans Genera HD Dry Coated 16" head offers the control and articulation needed for professional performance.
