Evans UV2 Coated Drumhead - 14"
Evans UV2 Coated Drumhead - 14"
Built for the heavy hitter but refined enough for the nuanced player, the Evans UV2 Coated Drumhead – 14" is the kind of gear that doesn’t just keep up with your playing—it pushes you forward. Whether you're cracking snare shots in a rock anthem or delicately feathering ghost notes in a jazz groove, this head delivers every stroke with power, clarity, and character.
The real magic lies in the UV2's groundbreaking coating. Unlike traditional heads that wear down and flake under pressure, this one is treated with a UV-cured coating that’s tough as nails and consistent from rim to centre. That means your brushes won’t skip, your sticks won’t slip, and your tone won’t fade.
Underneath, two plies of 7mil film give you a durable yet musical response. You get focused attack, punchy mids, and a beautiful, controlled sustain that makes this head a favourite across rock, funk, fusion, and beyond. It’s thick enough to handle punishment, but responsive enough to let dynamics shine.
And with Evans' Level 360 technology onboard, tuning is a dream. The head seats perfectly every time, making tuning faster and the sound more even, no matter your shell.
At Musicmaker, this is the go-to pick for drummers who need a snare or tom head that can take abuse and still sing.
