Ernie Ball 2627 Beefy Slinky Medium Electric Strings (.011-.054)

Ernie Ball 2627 Beefy Slinky Medium Electric Strings (.011-.054)

The Ernie Ball 2627 Beefy Slinky Electric Guitar Strings (.011–.054) are built for players who want a heavier feel, powerful tone and rock-solid tuning stability. Designed with thicker gauges across the set, they deliver a punchy low end and strong midrange presence that’s perfect for aggressive rhythm playing and heavier musical styles.

With gauges of .011, .015, .022p, .030, .042, .054, Beefy Slinkys provide increased string tension compared to lighter sets, giving your guitar a fuller, more powerful response. The heavier low strings offer tight, defined bass for chunky riffs and drop-tuned grooves, while the slightly heavier treble strings maintain clarity and sustain for lead work.

The wound strings are made from nickel-plated steel wrapped around a hex-shaped steel core, producing the bright, balanced tone that Ernie Ball strings are known for. The plain strings are crafted from specially tempered tin-plated high-carbon steel, delivering excellent durability and reliable tuning stability.

Beefy Slinkys are a favourite among players who want more resistance under the fingers, stronger attack and a solid feel when digging into riffs or heavy rhythm parts.

At Musicmaker, Ernie Ball Slinkys are a staple for guitarists across Ireland, and the 2627 Beefy Slinky set is a great choice for players looking to add extra power and definition to their electric guitar tone.
