Evans Clear 300 Snare Side Drum Head - 14"
Evans 14" Clear 300 Snare Side Drum Head
The Evans 14" Clear 300 Snare Side Drum Head is one of those essential pieces that quietly makes a huge difference to your overall snare sound. It might sit underneath the drum, but it plays a massive role in sensitivity, response, and clarity. Built as a 3mil single-ply head, the Clear 300 is designed specifically for the snare side (resonant side), delivering a crisp, articulate response that brings out the full character of your snare wires. Every ghost note, roll, and accent comes through cleanly and accurately.
Because it’s thinner than a batter head, it reacts quickly to even the lightest touch, giving you that sharp snap and detailed articulation that makes a snare feel alive. Whether you’re playing tight grooves or more dynamic passages, it keeps everything responsive and controlled. The clear film construction keeps the tone open and bright, helping your snare cut through without sounding choked or overly dampened. It’s also built with Evans’ usual consistency and durability, so you can rely on it to perform night after night without losing its feel.
This is one of those “set it and forget it” essentials — get this right, and your snare instantly feels more responsive, more sensitive, and more musical.
