Evans dB One Drum Head - 12"
Evans dB One Drum Head - 12"
The Evans dB One Drum Head – 12" is a brilliant way to keep your playing quiet without losing the feel of a real drum. Whether you’re practising at home, teaching, or working in a low-volume setup, it lets you play naturally without overpowering the room.
Part of Evans’ dB One low-volume series, this head is designed to reduce volume by up to 80%, while still delivering a realistic stick response and rebound. That’s the key — it doesn’t feel like a compromise, it feels like a proper drum under the sticks. The single-ply mesh construction with a specialised impact layer gives you a more defined, controlled tone than traditional mesh heads. You still get articulation and a sense of pitch, just at a much more manageable level.
At 12", it’s ideal for rack toms, offering a balanced, responsive feel that works perfectly for practice kits or hybrid setups. It translates well back to a full-volume kit too, so your technique stays consistent. Durable and easy to live with, it’s made for regular use — so you can put the hours in without worrying about wear.
This is the kind of head that makes quiet practice feel like the real thing — not just a workaround.
