Evans EMAD2 Clear Bass Drum Head - 20"
Evans EMAD2 Clear Bass Drum Head, 20"
The Evans EMAD2 Clear Bass Drum Head – 20" is all about tight control, focused punch, and serious durability — especially if you want your kick to hit hard without getting messy.
Built with a two-ply construction (7mil outer and 10mil inner), this head delivers a strong, defined attack with a tighter feel under the pedal. It’s perfect for players who want a bit more resistance and control compared to single-ply options, especially in louder or more demanding setups. The real standout, as always with EMAD, is the Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping system. With interchangeable damping rings, you can quickly dial in your sound — from a tight, punchy thud to something slightly more open and resonant — all without opening the drum or slowing things down mid-setup.
The clear finish gives you a bit more attack and definition, helping your kick cut through a mix with clarity while still delivering a solid, rounded low end. At 20", this head is ideal for players who want a punchy, controlled kick sound with less boom and more focus — great for tighter stages, recording, or more articulate playing styles.
It’s a no-nonsense, high-performance option that keeps your kick sounding clean, powerful, and consistent every time.
