Evans SoundOff Mesh Drumhead - 16"

Evans SoundOff Mesh Drumhead - 16"

The Evans SoundOff Mesh Drumhead – 16" is the go-to solution when you need to bring the volume right down without giving up the feel of your kit. Whether you’re practising at home, teaching, or setting up a quiet rehearsal space, this head keeps things controlled, responsive, and neighbour-friendly.

Built with a single-ply mesh design, the SoundOff head dramatically reduces volume while still offering a natural stick rebound. It’s not quite the same as a full drumhead, but it’s close enough that your technique, timing, and control all translate when you switch back.

At 16", it’s ideal for floor toms, giving you a consistent feel across your kit when paired with other SoundOff heads. It keeps everything balanced, so your practice setup still feels like a real kit — just without the volume. These are especially handy for late-night practice, shared living spaces, or teaching environments, where full acoustic volume just isn’t practical.

Simple to install and built to last, it’s an easy upgrade that makes a massive difference to how and when you can play.
