RealFeel by Evans ARFSTD Apprentice Pad Stand
The RealFeel by Evans ARFSTD Apprentice Pad Stand is one of those essential bits of kit that makes practice feel a whole lot more like the real thing. Simple, sturdy, and designed to just work, it’s the perfect partner for your practice pad setup.
Built specifically for drum practice pads, this stand gives you a stable, adjustable playing platform that lets you position your pad at a comfortable height — whether you’re practising at home, in lessons, or warming up backstage. It’s a big step up from balancing a pad on your lap or a table.
The height-adjustable design means you can tailor it to suit your playing position, helping develop proper technique and posture from the start. It’s especially useful for students working on snare fundamentals, but equally handy for more experienced drummers looking for a portable practice solution.
The stand itself is lightweight but solid, so it’s easy to transport while still feeling secure during use. The non-slip rubber feet keep everything planted, even during more energetic practice sessions.
It’s designed to fit standard 8mm threaded practice pads, including the popular Evans RealFeel range, so compatibility isn’t an issue.
At Musicmaker, this is the kind of accessory we always recommend alongside a practice pad — it just makes the whole experience more comfortable, more realistic, and more productive.
