The Lâg Sauvage Auditorium Nylon Slim Electro-Acoustic brings together eco-conscious innovation and the smooth, expressive character of nylon strings. Part of Lâg’s forward-thinking “Green Guitars” concept, this model combines sustainable materials, reduced-impact finishing techniques and refined tonal balance — now in a slim-neck, stage-ready nylon format.

At the heart of the Sauvage series is BrankoWood, developed as a sustainable alternative to exotic hardwoods. Through a controlled tropicalisation process that regulates density, the solid Pale BrankoWood top delivers clarity and projection comparable to spruce, with a distinctive natural appearance. It responds beautifully to fingerstyle playing, offering warmth, definition and a balanced dynamic range.

The fingerboard, bridge and headstock veneer are crafted from Black BrankoWood, providing the look and density of ebony while remaining environmentally responsible. Smooth and stable, it enhances articulation and note separation while maintaining the guitar’s sustainable ethos.

The back and sides are made from smoked eucalyptus, finished with a striking rough sawn texture. This textured finish reduces varnish and sanding stages during production, limiting solvent emissions and energy consumption while giving the guitar a bold, organic visual identity. A satin finish complements the raw character of the wood and allows the instrument to resonate freely.

In the auditorium body with cutaway, the Sauvage Nylon Slim offers superb balance and comfort. The auditorium shape provides articulate mids and controlled bass response, while the cutaway design allows easy access to upper frets for modern nylon repertoire and crossover styles. The curved back enhances both ergonomics and resonance, making it comfortable for extended sessions.

This model features a slim 46 mm nut width, narrower than traditional classical guitars, making it ideal for steel-string players transitioning to nylon or for performers who prefer a slightly faster, more contemporary feel. The 650 mm scale length, 350 mm radius and 20 medium silver nickel frets provide a comfortable and familiar playing experience.

For live use, the guitar is fitted with the Stage Lâg preamp system, including volume, 3-band EQ, phase switch, notch filter and built-in tuner. This versatile system allows precise tonal shaping and effective feedback control, making it perfect for stage performance, worship settings, studio recording or amplified acoustic ensembles.

Strung with Savarez 510 MRJ mixed tension nylon strings, the Sauvage delivers rich, rounded lows, expressive mids and smooth, singing trebles straight out of the case.
