Lag Guitars Sauvage Auditorium Cutaway Electro-Acoustic (Left-Handed)
Sustainable innovation with stage-ready balance — built for left-handed players
The Lâg Sauvage Auditorium Cutaway Electro-Acoustic (Left-Handed) brings the forward-thinking spirit of the Sauvage series to players who lead with their left hand. Designed as part of Lâg’s “Green Guitars” concept, this model combines eco-conscious materials, reduced-impact finishing techniques and refined tonal balance — now in a fully performance-ready format.
At the heart of the Sauvage range is BrankoWood, developed as a sustainable alternative to exotic hardwoods. Through a carefully controlled tropicalisation process, its density is regulated to deliver tonal characteristics close to spruce. The result is a solid Pale BrankoWood top that offers lively projection, clear articulation and excellent dynamic response, paired with a striking natural appearance.
The fingerboard, bridge and headstock veneer are crafted from Black BrankoWood, providing the look and density of ebony while remaining environmentally responsible. Smooth and stable under the fingers, it enhances note separation and playing comfort.
The back and sides are made from smoked eucalyptus, finished with a bold rough sawn texture. This distinctive aesthetic significantly reduces varnish application and sanding stages during production, helping limit solvent emissions and energy consumption. The satin finish complements the raw, organic character of the wood while allowing it to resonate freely.
In the auditorium body format with cutaway, this model delivers beautifully balanced projection, articulate mids and clear trebles. The slightly smaller body size compared to a dreadnought makes it especially comfortable for extended playing sessions, while the cutaway design allows easy access to upper frets — ideal for modern acoustic styles and melodic lead work. The curved back further enhances resonance and ergonomics.
For amplified performance, the guitar is fitted with the Stage Lâg preamp system, featuring volume control, 3-band EQ, built-in tuner, phase switch and notch filter. This comprehensive control set allows precise tonal shaping and effective feedback management, making it perfect for live gigs, studio recording or rehearsal environments.
The Khaya neck, 43 mm compensated black graphite nut, double-action truss rod and oil bath machine heads ensure smooth playability and dependable tuning stability. With a 650 mm scale length, 20 medium silver nickel frets and a 350 mm fingerboard radius, it feels familiar, responsive and ready for a wide range of styles.
Supplied with a quilted gig bag, this left-handed Sauvage Auditorium Cutaway is ready to travel wherever your music takes you.
It’s exactly the kind of thoughtfully built, performance-ready acoustic that stands out on the wall at Musicmaker — sustainable in construction, refined in tone and designed to include every player.
