Remo 14" Ambassador Hazy Snare Side

Remo 14" Ambassador Hazy

The Remo 14" Ambassador Hazy Snare Side Drum Head is one of those behind-the-scenes heroes that has shaped the sound of countless recordings and live performances. Specifically designed for the resonant side of your snare drum, it plays a crucial role in defining sensitivity, articulation, and the crisp snap that gives a snare its unmistakable voice. If you're looking to breathe new life into your snare, upgrading the resonant head can make a remarkable difference.

Crafted from a single ply of Remo's renowned Hazy film, the Ambassador Snare Side delivers exceptional snare wire response and outstanding sensitivity. Every ghost note, brush stroke, and delicate accent is reproduced with impressive clarity, while rimshots and backbeats retain the sharp, articulate crack that cuts through any mix.

The thin Hazy construction allows the snare wires to respond quickly and evenly across the entire drum, producing a balanced tone with excellent projection and dynamic range. Whether you're playing jazz, funk, rock, pop, orchestral music, or marching styles, this head offers the versatility and consistency that drummers have trusted for decades. As part of Remo's legendary Ambassador series, the Hazy Snare Side is known for its reliable tuning stability and consistent performance. It pairs beautifully with virtually any batter head, making it a popular choice for players looking to fine-tune their snare sound without compromising feel or responsiveness.

At Musicmaker, we often remind drummers that the resonant head is just as important as the batter head when it comes to achieving a great snare sound. The Remo 14" Ambassador Hazy Snare Side proves exactly why—delivering crisp articulation, superb sensitivity, and the dependable performance that's made it an industry standard.
