sE Electronics V Beat Dynamic Instrument Microphone

The sE Electronics V Beat Dynamic Instrument Microphone is a high-performance microphone specifically designed for capturing the dynamic and percussive sound of drums and other instruments. With its exceptional sound quality, rugged construction, and versatile features, the V Beat is an essential tool for both live and studio applications.

Equipped with a specialised dynamic capsule, the V Beat is optimised to capture the punch, impact, and nuances of drums and percussion instruments. It delivers a balanced and detailed sound reproduction, allowing the true character and tonality of the instruments to shine through. Featuring a supercardioid polar pattern, the V Beat offers excellent off-axis rejection, minimising unwanted bleed from other instruments and ambient sound sources. This focused pickup pattern ensures that the main sound source is captured accurately, providing a clean and isolated recording. The V Beat's extended frequency response of 20Hz to 16kHz captures the full range of percussive instruments, from the deep lows of kick drums to the crisp highs of cymbals. It faithfully reproduces the transient attack, body, and resonance of the instruments, resulting in a natural and impactful sound.

The microphone features a custom-built internal shock mount that effectively reduces handling noise and vibrations, ensuring clean and professional recordings. Its rugged metal construction withstands the demands of live performances and touring, providing durability and reliability. Designed with versatility in mind, the V Beat comes with an integrated drum mount that securely attaches to the rim of various drums and percussion instruments. This allows for easy and precise positioning, ensuring optimal microphone placement for capturing the desired sound.
