Stagg 10" Headless Wooden Tambourine Single Row Steel

Stagg 10" Headless Wooden Tambourine Single Row Steel

The Stagg 10" Headless Wooden Tambourine – Single Row Steel is a deceptively simple bit of kit that somehow manages to turn the smallest movement into pure rhythmic magic. There’s something instantly satisfying about it. You pick it up, give it the lightest shake, and it answers back with that crisp, shimmering jingle that just slots perfectly into whatever you’re playing. It’s not overbearing, not messy — just clean, bright, and beautifully controlled.

The 10" wooden frame gives it a natural, grounded feel in the hand. It’s sturdy without being heavy, balanced without feeling clinical — the kind of instrument that feels right straight away. Whether you’re tapping it, shaking it, or working it into a groove, it responds effortlessly. The headless design is where it really shines. Without a drum head to soften things, you get a direct, immediate response from the jingles — every accent is sharp, every shake is defined. It’s all about clarity and precision, which makes it incredibly versatile in both live and studio settings.

And those single row steel jingles? They bring a focused, articulate tone with just enough sparkle to lift a mix without cluttering it. Think tight, controlled shimmer rather than a wash of noise — perfect for acoustic sessions, stripped-back gigs, or adding subtle texture to a track.
