Stagg Genghis Exo Series 17" Medium Crash Cymbal
Stagg Genghis Exo Series 17" Medium Crash Cymbal
The Stagg Genghis Exo Series 17" Medium Crash Cymbal is built for drummers who want a crash that makes its presence known. Fast, explosive, and packed with musical energy, it delivers the kind of response that can lift a chorus, punctuate a fill, or bring a groove crashing gloriously into life.
Part of Stagg’s Genghis Exo Series, this 17" Medium Crash strikes a sweet spot between speed and body. It opens up quickly with a bright, powerful attack, while the medium weight provides enough substance to deliver a fuller, more developed crash sound than smaller or thinner alternatives. The result is a cymbal that feels lively under the stick but still carries enough authority to cut through a busy band mix.
Tonally, the Genghis Exo Crash offers a pleasing balance of shimmer, projection, and warmth. It has plenty of bite for rock and pop drummers, while retaining enough musicality to suit funk, indie, worship, and general-purpose playing. Whether you're accenting a groove or unleashing a dramatic cymbal swell, it responds with confidence and character.
Visually, the Exo Series sports a striking finish that gives the cymbal a distinctive stage presence, ensuring it looks as good as it sounds when the lights hit.
