Stagg LYD-52 Straight Cymbal Stand
Stagg LYD-52 Straight Cymbal Stand
When it comes to cymbal stands, reliability is king. The Stagg LYD-52 Straight Cymbal Stand is built with one job in mind: holding your cymbal firmly in place, no matter how wild the set gets. And it does that job with quiet confidence, rock-solid build quality, and just enough flexibility to suit any drummer's layout.
This stand features a sturdy three-section design with tube diameters of 25mm, 22mm, and 19mm—making height adjustment a breeze while keeping everything locked in tight once you're set. Add to that a 360° omnidirectional tilter and you’ve got complete control over cymbal angle, whether you’re riding low or crashing high.
Double-braced legs mean business—they’re not just for show. They keep the stand grounded and balanced, even on bumpy pub stages or during frantic fills. The chrome-plated finish adds that professional sheen and protects the metal from dings, rust, and general wear and tear, making this a stand that’ll look sharp long after its first gig.
Weighing in at a manageable 2.85kg, it’s lightweight enough to throw in a hardware bag without breaking your back, but strong enough to take the kind of punishment that only live gigs can dish out. At Musicmaker, we’ve always said your hardware is only as good as its weakest point—fortunately, the LYD-52 doesn’t have one.
