Vater 7A Stretch Wood Tip

Vater 7A Stretch Wood Tip

The Vater 7A Stretch Wood Tip drumsticks take the classic 7A design and give it a little extra length, offering more reach and leverage while retaining the light, agile feel drummers love about 7As. Perfect for players with a finesse-driven style, these sticks are all about speed, articulation, and control, with just that touch of added range.

Crafted from premium hickory, they’re strong, responsive, and built to handle hours of playing without wearing down quickly. The tapered profile keeps them feeling nimble in the hands, while the rounded wood tip brings warm, defined cymbal tones and crisp attack across the kit.

That extra stretch in length makes them especially handy for players who want to cover more ground with less effort, whether on a compact jazz kit, a sprawling fusion setup, or even orchestral percussion. They keep the lightweight touch of a 7A but give you just a bit more to work with when it comes to projection and presence.

At Musicmaker, we love sticks that enhance subtle playing styles without sacrificing durability, and the Vater 7A Stretch Wood Tips are exactly that—quick, comfortable, and just a little bit longer to give you the edge.
