At the heart of this design is a lightweight thin foam core, wrapped in 12 high-quality birch dowels. The foam not only reduces overall weight, but also absorbs some of the impact energy—lowering volume and softening the stick’s response. The handle features a 0.620" (1.58cm) grip for a solid yet comfortable hold, with an overall length of 16¼" (41.27cm).
