The Gravity CART L 01 AC 1 Rapid Desk Extension is designed to transform the Gravity CART L 01 B into the foundation of a proper mobile workstation when combined with the KS RD 1 Rapid Desk.

The concept is brilliantly practical. Fit the CART L 01 AC 1 support bars to the Rapid Desk, unfold and extend your CART L 01 B, and you've got a sturdy rolling work surface suitable for all sorts of live, studio and technical applications. Think laptops, mixers, controllers, production equipment, tools or whatever else you'd rather have at working height than balanced precariously on a flight case.

Setup is deliberately quick. The screwed supports simply slot into the dedicated recesses in the middle of the KS RD 1 Rapid Desk. Once they're in position, the CART is unfolded and extended to its maximum working dimension. No additional fastening or screwing of the supports is required, which means less time building furniture and more time doing whatever you actually brought the equipment for.

Gravity builds the extension from powder-coated steel, so it's appropriately sturdy for life around venues, rehearsal spaces and production environments. The pair weighs just 0.684kg, with each support measuring 415mm long.

Once the extension, CART L 01 B and KS RD 1 are working together, the resulting upper workspace is rated for loads of up to 50kg. Gravity also specifies that the lower tier of the trolley can carry up to 120kg in this workstation configuration, giving you the rather appealing possibility of equipment underneath and an organised working surface above.

One important distinction: the CART L 01 AC 1 is the extension accessory itself. You'll also need the compatible Gravity CART L 01 B and KS RD 1 Rapid Desk to create the complete rolling table setup. If you already own those pieces, though, this is the wonderfully simple bit that brings them together.
