Donner Golden Tremolo Pedal

Donner Golden Tremolo Pedal

The Donner Golden Tremolo Pedal brings one of the most beloved vintage amplifier effects to your pedalboard, faithfully recreating the warm, organic pulse of the legendary optical tremolo circuits found in classic American combo amps. From subtle movement that adds life to clean chords to deep, hypnotic pulses perfect for surf, blues, country, indie, and ambient music, the Golden Tremolo delivers timeless modulation with vintage character. Unlike more aggressive or choppy tremolo effects, optical tremolo is prized for its smooth, natural feel. The Golden Tremolo captures that unmistakable vintage response, gently modulating your guitar's volume in a way that enhances your playing without overwhelming it. The result is a rich, musical pulse that has featured on countless classic recordings for decades.

Three dedicated controls make it easy to tailor the effect to your playing style. Speed adjusts the rate of the modulation, from slow, spacious swells to fast, shimmering pulses. Depth controls the intensity of the tremolo effect, allowing everything from subtle movement to dramatic rhythmic chopping. The Bias control shapes the character and feel of the waveform, offering additional flexibility to fine-tune the pedal's vintage-inspired voice. Whether you're adding vintage shimmer to clean arpeggios, creating atmospheric textures, or injecting rhythmic movement into lead and rhythm parts, the Golden Tremolo adapts beautifully to a wide range of musical styles and playing techniques.

Housed in a rugged aluminium-alloy enclosure, the Golden Tremolo is built to withstand the demands of rehearsals, gigs, and regular pedalboard use. Its compact footprint leaves plenty of room for the rest of your effects, while true bypass switching preserves your guitar's natural tone whenever the pedal is disengaged. A bright LED indicator makes it easy to check the pedal's status, even on dimly lit stages.

At Musicmaker, we firmly believe tremolo is one of the most underrated guitar effects around. Switch on the Golden Tremolo for just a few minutes, and you'll quickly understand why generations of players have fallen in love with that unmistakable vintage pulse.
