PureSound Custom Series Snare Wire, 24 Strand, 14"
PureSound Custom Series Snare Wire, 24 Strand, 14"
The PureSound Custom Series 24 Strand Snare Wire is a premium upgrade for drummers who demand exceptional sensitivity, crisp articulation, and a consistently responsive snare sound. Designed to bring out the full character of your drum, this 14" snare wire delivers a balanced blend of snap, warmth, and projection that suits everything from subtle ghost notes to powerful backbeats.
Featuring 24 individually tensioned strands, the Custom Series provides increased contact across the snare-side head, producing a fuller, more responsive sound than lower strand-count alternatives. The result is enhanced sensitivity at low dynamics while retaining the powerful crack and definition needed for louder playing styles. Each strand is manufactured from premium-grade steel for excellent durability and consistent performance. PureSound's precision construction ensures even tension across the entire wire assembly, helping eliminate unwanted buzz while delivering a clean, articulate response across the full dynamic range of the drum. Designed for 14" snare drums, the Custom Series installs easily and works beautifully with a wide variety of drum shell materials and batter heads. Whether you're playing rock, pop, jazz, funk, country, or orchestral percussion, these snare wires provide the versatility and reliability that professional drummers depend on.
Built with PureSound's renowned attention to detail, the Custom Series offers dependable tuning stability and long-lasting performance, making it an excellent choice for both gigging drummers and studio musicians looking to get the very best from their snare drum.
At Musicmaker, we know that upgrading your snare wires can completely transform your drum's performance. The PureSound Custom Series 24 Strand Snare Wire delivers the sensitivity, clarity, and consistency that helps every note speak with confidence.
