PureSound Super 30 Series Snare Wire, 30 Strand, 14"
PureSound Super 30 Series Snare Wire, 30 Strand, 14 Inch
A snare drum can make or break a groove, and the snare wires play a huge part in defining its voice. The PureSound Super 30 Series Snare Wire is designed for drummers who want maximum snare response without sacrificing sensitivity, delivering a crisp, articulate sound that's equally at home in the studio, on stage, or in the practice room.
Featuring 30 strands of premium steel wire, the Super 30 offers a broader contact area than traditional 20-strand snare wires, producing a fuller, more responsive snare sound with increased sensitivity across the entire drumhead. Ghost notes become more expressive, backbeats gain extra authority, and every stroke benefits from improved articulation and consistency.
Despite the increased strand count, the Super 30 retains impressive clarity. The additional wires enhance the drum's presence without creating an overly choked or compressed sound, making it an excellent choice for drummers who want a richer snare response while preserving the natural character of their drum.
Built to PureSound's renowned standards, each strand is evenly tensioned to ensure smooth, reliable performance and consistent contact with the resonant head. The result is reduced buzzing, improved dynamic response, and dependable performance whether you're playing delicate jazz passages, driving rock rhythms, or intricate orchestral work.
Designed to fit 14-inch snare drums, the Super 30 installs easily using the included mounting straps, making it a straightforward upgrade that can dramatically transform the feel and sound of your favourite snare.
At Musicmaker, we know that sometimes the most effective drum upgrades are also the simplest. The PureSound Super 30 Series Snare Wire is a quick way to unlock greater sensitivity, enhanced articulation, and a bigger, more responsive snare sound without changing the drum itself.
