ProMark Performer Series PST1 Soft Maple Timpani Mallet

ProMark Performer Series PST1 Soft Maple Timpani Mallet

The ProMark Performer Series PST1 Soft Maple Timpani Mallets are a perfect choice for timpanists seeking a warm, full-bodied sound with a soft attack. Crafted with precision and care, these mallets feature lightweight maple handles that provide excellent balance and control, making them ideal for expressive, nuanced playing.

The soft felt heads are designed to bring out a lush, resonant tone from the drums while minimising unwanted attack noise. This makes them particularly well-suited for rolls, delicate passages, and legato playing where a smooth, rounded sound is essential. Whether you’re performing in an orchestral setting, a wind ensemble, or a percussion recital, these mallets deliver the subtlety and responsiveness you need.

ProMark’s Performer Series is renowned for its consistency and craftsmanship, ensuring that each mallet meets the high standards required by professional musicians. At Musicmaker, we’ve been helping percussionists find the perfect tools for their craft since the 1980s, and these timpani mallets are a fine example of the quality and performance we stand by. If you’re looking for a timpani mallet that offers superb touch, clarity, and warmth, the PST1 Soft Maple is an excellent addition to your setup.
