Promark Performer Series PST4 Hard/Staccato Maple Timpani Mallet
Promark Performer Series PST4 Hard/Staccato Maple Timpani Mallet
The ProMark Performer Series PST4 Hard/Staccato Maple Timpani Mallet is built for clarity, precision, and definition — perfect when you need every note to speak cleanly and cut through with confidence.
Designed with a hard felt head, the PST4 delivers a bright, articulate attack that’s ideal for staccato passages, rhythmic playing, and more defined orchestral moments. It gives you that crisp front-end to each note, making it easier to maintain clarity even in complex or fast-moving parts.
The maple shafts keep things lightweight and responsive, offering excellent balance and control in the hand. That lighter feel makes quick movements and dynamic shifts feel natural, whether you’re playing in an ensemble or working through detailed solo material.
Tonally, these mallets lean towards a clear, focused sound with less bloom and more immediate presence — exactly what you want when precision matters most.
Part of ProMark’s Performer Series, they’re designed to be reliable, consistent, and accessible — a great option for students, educators, and working percussionists alike.
