Evans Resonant Black Drum Head - 14"
Evans Resonant Black Drum Head - 14"
Focused resonance, controlled sustain and a sleek modern look
The Evans 14" Resonant Black Drum Head is a solid choice for drummers looking to fine-tune the response and sustain of their drum while adding a sharp, understated aesthetic to their kit. Designed specifically for use as a resonant (bottom) head, it plays a crucial role in shaping tone, decay and overall feel without colouring the sound of your batter head.
Constructed from a single ply of durable film, this resonant head delivers a clear, controlled response that tightens up sustain and enhances articulation. It’s particularly well suited for larger toms, helping notes speak cleanly and evenly across a wide tuning range. Whether you’re setting up for live performance, studio recording or everyday practice, it provides consistency you can rely on.
The black finish adds a modern visual edge that looks fantastic under stage lights or in the studio, making it a popular choice for drummers who care about both sound and style. Reliable, easy to tune and built to Evans’ exacting standards, it’s one of those behind-the-scenes upgrades that makes a noticeable difference — and one we’re always happy to recommend here at Musicmaker.
